Established in 2016 Cassino Art Gallery is a volunteer not-for-profit organisation that runs the Cassino Art Gallery.
We hold a series of exhibitions throughout the year, open to all ages.
The Gallery space is also available for hire and is suitable for local and regional creators offering to share their skills and teach the fundamentals of their craft in workshops, art classes, and is available for community meetings.

The Gallery is air conditioned, has tables and easels, a TV, kitchen, restrooms, and off street parking. If you would like to hire the Gallery space, please email us cassinoartgallery@gmail.com.
Visiting the Gallery
The Cassino Art Gallery is open every Thursday to Sunday 10am to 3pm during exhibitions.
Entry is by donation, which helps keep volunteer run Gallery operating.
Our History
In the early 1960s the Cassino Art Gallery site hosted the largest open air Skating Rink outside Sydney. The Skating Rink became the Rink Theatre, still open air and complete with canvas seats.
In the early 1960s the building was replaced with a new RTA building which was acquired from the NSW Government by The Richmond Valley Council in 2019 to be used as a community Art Gallery. The building was converted into the Cassino Art Gallery in 2019,
In 2019 Councillor Robert Mustow Mayor of the Richmond Valley Council paid State Government Member for Clarence Mr Chris Gulaptis ($1) One Dollar for the purchase of this building at 148 Barker Street. The goal was to create an Art Gallery for the Casino Community to be operated by the Casino Art Group Inc.
